Val Thorens has once again cemented its dominance on the international ski scene. The Savoyard resort has been voted “World’s Best Ski Resort” at the 2025 World Ski Awards, winning the trophy for the 10th time in twelve editions.

According to the organization, quoted by Le Figaro, Val Thorens was honored “in recognition of its status as a global benchmark for ski-lift infrastructure, resort facilities and ski-in/ski-out accommodation.”

The World Ski Awards are based on a worldwide public vote. Already crowned in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023 and 2024, Val Thorens reaches a symbolic milestone with this tenth title.

On its social networks, the resort expressed gratitude to its supporters: “You elected Val Thorens the best ski resort in the world for the 10th time! A huge thank you to everyone.”
